The Tappahannock Police Department is investigating the suspicious death that occurred on January 25 in the Essex Trailer Park. Officers were called to 65 Davis Street to assist EMS when a female was discovered deceased inside the home. The woman was identified as Tiffini E. Jones, 31, of Tappahannock.
An adult male was present at the time of the call and was interviewed and released later that evening. The body of Miss Jones was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Richmond for autopsy.
No charges have been filed at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
