TAPPAHANNOCK POLICE MAKE ARRESTS IN AUGUST 9 SHOOTING

The Tappahannock Police Department has charged two men in connection with a shooting that took place in the early hours of August 9.  At approximately 1:22 am, police were dispatched to 420 Marsh St. for a call of shots fired into the home.  Officers determined that two shots were fired into a bedroom window from the outside.  No injuries or fatalities were reported, and the suspects fled the scene. 

 
Kyle Cobb, 25 of Tappahannock has been arrested and charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling, brandishing of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a felon.  Carlo Cobb, 41 of Walkerton was arrested and charged with four felonies related to the shooting. 
 
Kyle Cobb is currently being held at the Middle Peninsula Regional Security Center without bond.  Carlo Cobb was released on bond from Middle Peninsula and ordered to enroll in pretrial services.
